Minoru Katagiri, a novice guitarist in a band, loses consciousness after being struck on the head at his sister's residence. When he wakes up a month later, he discovers that his sister was murdered as part of a string of strange killings on that same day. As a result of the attack, Minoru's sense of smell becomes heightened and he gains a unique skill to see scents. Using this newfound ability, Minoru sets out to track down the culprit responsible for the crimes.
