In order to address the financial difficulties faced by a temple, a Buddhist vocational school is established by the temple. This school is open to students who have not succeeded in other high schools. Tension arises between the students and the monk instructors. In the meantime, Shosuke Tamura, a monk in training from Kinkinfuku Temple near the struggling temple, is tasked with observing the other temple.
