Tanimura Mitsuki, also known as Todo Maki, has been striving to achieve her goal of becoming an actress in Tokyo. After her theater group disbands, she finds herself in debt of 6 million yen. With limited options, Maki decides to audition for OR Corporation, a questionable company that hires stand-in actors for various everyday situations. She takes on roles such as a new wife for a bride dealing with family issues, a mother attending a school meeting on behalf of a busy executive, and even a corpse involved in an insurance fraud investigation. Through these experiences, Maki uncovers unexpected truths and grows as she navigates the complexities of human relationships.
