Chi-Chung Huang, the second son of the Huang family who owns Taiwan Chao-Lian Group, engaged in illegal activities with his older brother, Chi-Long Huang, in a bid to influence a death penalty case involving their family. When their plan backfired and the prosecutor had a change of heart, Chi-Chung resorted to violent tactics to intimidate him. This led to a fatal accident where the prosecutor fell off an elevated expressway and died. To evade the authorities, Chi-Chung followed his brother's instructions and went into hiding in southern Taiwan, only to fall under the control of a criminal organization. In a drugged state, he unknowingly committed a heinous act against a young woman named Chia-Yi. Determined to seek justice, Chia-Yi discovered she was pregnant with Chi-Chung's child, fueling her resolve to challenge the power dynamics between the wealthy (Chi-Chung) and the disadvantaged (herself). As tensions escalate, the impending conflict between the two sides raises the question: who will emerge victorious in the end?
