Daisuke Nakahara's passion for packed lunches led him to open his own bento shop. However, his wife Yuko surprises him with a train journey across Japan as a gift. During his travels, Daisuke encounters and shares meals with lovely women he meets along the way, sampling various ekiben such as the renowned Fukushima Ajizukushi, Gyunikudomannaka, and Hanagasakokeshi.

The plot of this series revolves around the employees of a well-known Italian eatery as they navigate through their daily challenges. Roccabianca is a renowned establishment, but when the head chef and owner Tatsumi falls ill, the restaurant begins to lose its special touch. As the number of patrons dwindles, Saori, the owner's daughter and assistant manager, stumbles upon Ezaki, a chef with a similar culinary background to her father, on an online job platform. Despite Ezaki's undeniable culinary talent, his overly logical approach clashes with the restaurant's efforts to preserve its traditional taste after he is hired as the new head chef.
