Inside the tomb, Chen Wong Ye harbored intentions of eliminating Lu Duan Wen and his wife in order to seize the treasure and the book, with aspirations of usurping his brother and claiming the throne for himself. Thankfully, a grave robber named Li Jia Li intervened to rescue Lu Duan Wen and his wife, allowing Chen Wong Ye to flee with one key. Lu Duan Wen and his wife retained one key, while the grave robber held onto the third key. They agreed to a pact that involved their children marrying each other. On the journey back, Lu Duan Wen went into labor and delivered a baby girl with the assistance of a benevolent elderly man named Wu Ma. Tragically, she passed away shortly thereafter.
