Yik-Tin closely monitors Sai-Hao, seemingly favoring Laughing (Michael Tse) and promoting him within the organization. Yet, Sai-Hao manipulates Yik-Tin's wife Ching Yeuk-Sam (Kathy Chow) to elevate his own status within the group. As Sai-Hao believes he has secured power, his drug operations falter, revealing that those he trusted most have deceived and used him for their own gain.

In 2010, Cheuk Hoi makes a secret trip to Bangkok with his undercover team for a drug operation in Thailand. Unfortunately, as they are wrapping up their mission, an explosion occurs, resulting in the death of all his undercover agents in a fiery blast. Around the same time, Cheuk Hoi's close friend, CIB Inspector Lai Sir, is murdered under mysterious circumstances. This leaves Cheuk Hoi responsible for a female police officer who is not yet officially working undercover. Cheuk Hoi is aware that Lai Sir had undercover agents whose identities have been wiped out. In order to uncover the truth behind Lai Sir's death, Cheuk Hoi must locate all the undercover agents. He teams up with Suk Mui to track down the missing agents.

In most situations, Yoshimune skillfully handles the situation without causing serious harm, opting to use the blunt side of his sword. Only in extreme cases does he resort to using the sharp edge of his blade, demonstrating the severity of the circumstances.
