Millions of years ago, before humans inhabited Earth, dragons and sea creatures coexisted on the planet. A conflict arose between the two groups over territory, prompting the cosmos-based Protoss to provide the dragons with twelve mechanical fighters and six transformation machines to even the playing field. After significant losses on both sides, the sea creatures discovered a more suitable water planet and initiated peace talks with the dragons. They sealed their tyrant, the Shark Seal King, in charge of the Earth's seawater, before departing from Earth. Unbeknownst to the sea creatures, they had inadvertently brought a land reorganization machine developed by the Shark Seal King, which the dragons integrated into their battleship as a gift. However, a catastrophic event led to the extinction of the dragons and the termination of the land reorganization plan. Some militant sea creatures returned to Earth in search of a super elf to resurrect their commander and reclaim their former glory. To thwart the sea creatures' plans, six individuals obtained the dragons' remaining mechanical war-slayers and transformation machines, transforming into a powerful fighting team known as the Giant God Fighting Team. They marched forward to defend Earth from the sea creatures' invasion.

Following the defeat of the Hai tribe's conspiracy by the powerful gods and warriors, peace was restored on Earth once again. In 2016, the NSSA (National Space and Star Administration), a prominent global tech company, organized a competition known as the Stars Contest to identify the most skilled pilot capable of controlling unmanned spacecraft. However, at the same time, the ancient space invaders known as space-breakers resurfaced and began abducting humans using data and space signals to enslave them on various planets.
